It is a glorious day,

This Fourth of July,

Say, can you see

A very grand place,

On this 250^th anniversary.  

A beacon of freedom,

The calm after a storm,

A blessing to the world,

We are part of a fold,

A light and gracious momentum.

We proudly celebrate,

in us a gleaming twilight,

Within the waving star-spangled banner,

A liberty touchstone and honor,

A land of the free and the home of the brave.
